Alive in christ unitA unit of the Certificate of Pastoral Liturgy
This unit, presented by Dr. Jenny O'Brien, presents an overview of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) as it is understood and practised within the Catholic Church. Beginning with an investigation of baptismal themes in the New Testament, the topic then explores the Catechumenate during the first five centuries of the Church before considering its reinstatement after the Second Vatican Council. Every Thursday, 8th Aug - 5th Sept 2024 (5 weeks), from 7pm to 9pm in St Francis Xavier's Cathedral Hall, Adelaide. FREE parking available in the basement.
